| The mission of the Benson JR Football and Cheer program is to teach the fundamentals of football and cheer-leading to young athletes in the Renton community ages 5 to 15 years old. The Benson JR Football and Cheer program promotes positive youth development and addresses the importance of proper techniques,skills development and health and safety. Benson JR Football and Cheer teaches young people important skills about the game of football and supporting the team, but more importantly, the skills and opportunities to succeed in life as teammates and individual leaders. Our strictly volunteer coaching staff cares about young people both on and off the field. We believe that winning and receiving a trophy is a great feeling, however, its not the only reason we play the game. Proof of success isn't in the metal and wood but in the confidence showing in the eyes of the child. |
